Semiconductor sales jumped 10% last week; however, they were down 9% from this time last year. Zooming in on DRAM IC this week, the 13-week MA fell 38% last week. While the 13-week MA remains extremely negative, we are beginning to climb out of this deep hole. TechInsights forecasts DRAM IC sales will plunge 41% YoY to $49B in 2023.
Retail prices of electronics have plateaued.
