Semiconductor sales were flat last week but were down 25% from a year ago. Zooming in on Auto ICs this week, the 13-week MA remains strong at 21%. The 13-week MA for Auto ICs hasn’t been negative since November 2020 and has posted double-digit growth since December 2020. TechInsights forecasts Auto IC sales will jump 14% YoY to $40B in 2023.
Retail prices of electronics are starting to eke up.
