Foundries will be the biggest segment for WFE sales for the fourth consecutive year in 2022

2021 was a great year for WFE sales in Foundry and Memory with both segments growing over 40%. Last year’s growth would have been higher had it not been for the supply chain constraints and shortages that hit the equipment industry in the second half of the year. These constrains continue to linger in 2022, impeding growth in 1H22. We expect growth to pick up in 2H22 as these constrains abate. For the year, WFE sales are expected to increase 23% led by IDM Logic up 27%. WFE sales for Memory and Foundry are projected to increase nearly 22%.
