Semiconductor sales rose 4% last week and were down 26% from this time in 2022. The IC weather rose 1.2° and remains in Cool conditions. Zooming in on Logic this week, the 13-week MA is down 13%. TechInsights forecasts Logic sales will reach $274B in 2023 with a Y/Y decrease of 2%.
TechInsights’ IC Supply/Demand remained in Balanced conditions. Foundry transitioned from Balanced to Loose while More Moore moved from Loose to Saturated. Auto ICs moved into Balanced conditions for the first time since 2020.
Retail Prices of electronics continue to fall.
