The Huawei Pura 80 Ultra features a dual-periscope telephoto CMOS image sensor, delivering high-resolution imaging with advanced stabilization and autofocus technology.

The Huawei Pura 80 Ultra telephoto CMOS image sensor (CIS) is primarily designed for smartphone telephoto camera applications. The CIS was extracted from the LMR-AL10 model. This is the first dual-periscope telephoto camera with two different lenses are used for different ranges of optical zoom, thereby offering a high-resolution image over the entire range of mid (up to 3.7x) to high (up to 9.4x) telephoto focal lengths. This telephoto CIS is a 1/1.28" optical format, 50 MP resolution, 1.22 µm pixel pitch, stacked back-illuminated (BI) CIS with sensor shift optical image stabilization and phase detection autofocus (PDAF) technology. It also features a 4-cell binning resolution of 12.5 MP at high (9.4x) optical zoom.
