Samsung posted a modest year-over-year growth by smartphone shipments, with 53.8 million units globally in Q2 2024. Emerging markets largely drove the growth while mature markets remained mixed. Samsung’s smartphone wholesale revenue registered annual growth thanks to the higher ASP, while the profit margin was dented due to the higher component prices / costs.
