Supplied by Nordic Semiconductor’s ANT/BT LE SoC #nRF52832, the Ring A19 Smart LED Bulb supports connectivity protocols such as BT 5.3, BT 2 Mpbs, BT Mesh and does not support Matter Connectivity Protocol, BT Long Range, BT Direction Finding, BT LE Audio or Thread, and Zigbee.
Compared to the NanoleafA19 Smart Bulb, the main difference is that the Nanoleafbulb can work autonomically, directly through the NanoleafApp, whereas the Ring A19 Smart LED Bulb required using an external bridge from which user can connect to the Bulb and others smart devices through the Ring App. Moreover, the Nanoleafworks in a range of temperatures from 2700 to 6500 K and light up to 1100 lumens of Multicolor light. The Ring A19 Smart LED Bulb only has a white light temperature of 3500 K and can be regulated up to 800 lumens. Both lightbulbs have the same shape (A19) and the same power socket (E26). As for connectivity, Ring uses LoRa and BT and Nanoleafuses Matter and Thread.
