The Clarion 12-way Audio Amplifier with four differential audio inputs is a high-class audio system designed in cooperation between Focal and Peugeot. This system is available in selected Peugeot car models, for example the 308, 408, and 508. Communication between the audio amplifier and the audio elements in the car takes place via three connectors.
The Top Enclosure serves both as protection and as a heat sink. It absorbs heat from the audio amplifiers and voltage regulator and dissipates it to the surroundings.
The system uses integrated circuits designed respectively: Audio Processor - 16 years ago, Microcontroller 20 years ago, A/D converter - 21 years ago, Audio Power Amplifier 17 and 12 years ago.
