Smartphone shipments in Canada contracted by double-digits in Q2 2023 compared to the year-ago quarter, with just one of the leading vendors seeing shipments improving year-on-year. Canada is a mature market in which replacement sales make up most smartphone volumes, limiting growth. Supply issues are affecting the ability of vendors to fully meet customer demand. The big three vendors in the Canadian market this quarter are Apple, Samsung, and Google.
