Connected TV Device shipments in Asia Pacific grew by 1% in Q1 2023 driven by a 20% increase in IP-enabled Games Console shipments. Sony enjoyed 68% year on year growth backed by strong volumes from its Playstation 5 during the quarter. Shipments of Smart TVs remained flat while demand for streaming media players fell by 4%. Xiaomi took the largest share of total shipments in Q1 2023 followed by Hisense and TCL.
