In May, the Microprocessor Report team explored the limited details surrounding NVIDIA's next-generation GPU and CPU datacenter architectures, known as Vera Rubin. We examined Renesas' new entry-level embedded microcontroller, the RA0E2. Additionally, we took a closer look at Qualcomm's latest mid-range Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 smartphone system-on-chip (SoC), which left us seeing double. Computex 2025 was the main event of the month, featuring significant announcements. We cataloged 84 device launches and three new IPs in May.
