Insight: DMS Vendor Cipia Enters Aftermarket ADAS as Mobileye Pulls Out

At CES 2025, Cipia announced an expansion of its Cipia-FS10 video telematics solution for commercial fleet vehicles by adding ADAS capabilities to its driver monitoring system core offering. The new ADAS solution runs on a road-facing, windshield-mounted camera, enabling road safety features, including tailgating warnings, lane departure alerts, and forward collision detection, while also enhancing the accuracy of driver monitoring and fleet telematics data. The addition of the ADAS features follows market demand and shifts in the aftermarket ecosystem, particularly Mobileye's March 2024 announcement that it will discontinue its aftermarket ADAS offerings. This move could potentially strengthen Cipia's position in the video telematics fleet market.
