Intel Twin Lake budget CPUs are virtually identical twins of Alder Lake-N predecessors
Uncover our analysis of Intel’s Twin Lake-N, a budget-friendly, low-power processor with Gracemont E-cores, Intel 7 process, and DDR4/DDR5 support.
Twin Lake-N is intended for low-power, budget-conscious designs, offering only single-threaded Gracemont E-cores first found in Alder Lake processors (MPR Sep 2021, “Gracemont Bulks Up in Performance”). True to the name, Twin Lake-N bears striking similarities to its Alder Lake-N predecessors: both are manufactured on the Intel 7 (10ESF) process, use the FCBGA1264 socket, include 6 MB “Smart Cache,” provide a maximum of nine PCIe 3.0 lanes, and support up to 16 GB DDR4-3200, DDR5-4800, or LPDDR5-4800 RAM.
