Samsung posted a modest year-over-year growth by smartphone shipments, with 53.8 million units of smartphones globally in Q2 2024. The company managed to terminate the downturn track lasted for the past seven quarters in a row and achieved a mild growth, which largely came from emerging markets including Middle East Africa, Central Latin America and Central Eastern Europe. The performance in mature markets and India remained mixed this quarter.
