Global smart TV shipments declined by 0.5% year-over-year (YoY) in 2023, reaching just over 187 million units as challenging economic conditions continue to affect consumer demand which remains subdued since 2020 when Covid lockdowns stimulated consumer demand for home entertainment services and devices such as Smart TVs.
