Q4 2023: Lenovo-Motorola: Growth Among All Key Regions

Lenovo-Motorola’s global smartphone shipments grew 33% year-over-year (YoY) in Q4 2023 outperforming the global smartphone market driven by strong performance in its key markets US and Mexico, and strong triple digit annual growth in India. Motorola registered growth among all key regions in Q4 2023. India’s Moto shipment surpassed that of Mexico for third position for two quarters in a row. Wholesale revenue grew 19% YoY less than shipment growth driven by the soft wholesale ASP which declined 10% YoY. The Americas continue to hold the major share for the vendor but Asia Pacific and Western Europe hold a lot of potential.
