The Xiaomi Redmi 12 Turbo and Redmi 12 Explorer have similar sizes and 120 Hz AMOLED displays. They have common Front-End ICs like Qorvo’s QM77048E and QM77042. The main difference between them is the CPU. The Redmi 12 Turbo uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 with is newer than the Mediatek Dimensity 1080 used in the Redmi 12 Explorer. All power management ICs are also provided by Qualcomm instead of Mediatek. The Redmi 12 Turbo uses a one-cell battery which limits the maximum charging power to 67W while the Redmi 12 Explorer can take up to 210W. The main rear camera has lower resolution (64 MP) than the 200 MP main camera in the Redmi 12 Explorer.
