India Smartphone Vendor and OS Marketshare: Q3 2025

India's smartphone market grew 4.5% YoY in Q3 2025, driven by festive buying and 5G. Vivo, Xiaomi, and OPPO led sales with over 90% in 5G shipments.

India Smartphone market grew by 4.5% YoY to 46.6 million units in Q3 2025. The growth comes from multitude of factors including festive buying, stable economy, govt GST rationalization etc. Vivo, Xiaomi and OPPO were the top three vendors with market shares of 22.3%, 14.4% and 14.0% respectively. Vendors such as Vivo, OPPO and Apple also went on to record their highest-ever quarterly shipments in the country. 5G accounted for over 90% of the smartphone shipments and with most top vendors pushing for AI capable devices in their portfolio. Online channels were at the forefront of discount sales and they accounted for 51.3% of the smartphone volumes.
