A huge number of second-tier MICROVENDORS are playing a meaningful role in the global wearables space, flooding the market with new, niche, and segmented offerings. Global wearables shipments grew by 2% in Q2 2025, after growth in both Q1 2025 and Q4 2024 were preceded by eight consecutive quarters (two years) of declines driven by market saturation, macroeconomic weakness, and limited innovation.
