Global Smartphone Market Grew 4% YoY by Shipments and Wholesale Revenue in Q2 2025

Smartphone shipments hit 300M units in Q2 2025, up 4% YoY. Revenue rose to $92.6B as ASP grew slightly. Samsung led the market, followed by Apple and Xiaomi.

Global smartphone shipments rebounded 4% YoY to 300 million units in Q2 2025. Smartphone wholesale revenue grew 4% annually at US$92.6 billion, indicating a modest growth of smartphone wholesale ASP, which marginally improved 0.5% YoY at US$309. Samsung topped the global smartphone market with 19% market share. Apple ranked in second place with 17% market share. Xiaomi, vivo and Transsion make up the rest of the top-five list, followed by OPPO (OnePlus), Honor, Lenovo-Motorola, Huawei, and Realme.
