The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor is co-packaged with a 12 GB Samsung LPDDR5X DRAM memory device and is the first to employ Qualcomm's Oryon CPU architecture, built using TSMC's 3 nm N3E process (DFR-2411-801). The 4th generation Snapdragon 8 chipset is in all the Galaxy S25 handsets, replacing the Snapdragon 8 3rd-generation processor chipset found in Samsung's previous generation Galaxy S24.
