Automotive semiconductors dropped to 10% of total semiconductor sales in 2024, almost back to 2022 percentage of total levels, and down from a peak of 13% of all semiconductor sales in 2023. Infineon and NXP continue to lead the automotive semiconductor supplier sales, with STMicroelectronics holding on to third place. Infineon retained a 13% market share in 2024, similar to 2023. NXP also held onto a 10% share for the year. STMicroelectronics dropped by a percentage point to 9% of the market compared to 10% in 2023. Texas Instruments retained the fourth largest supplier position with an 8% share. Renesas rounded out the top 5 suppliers with a 7% share this year.
