The MBUX NTG7 is a control unit used in various Mercedes-Benz car models. The unit used in this analysis is the NTG7 Premium+ LFT2 sourced from 2023 Mercedes EQS – a battery-electric luxury liftback. The MBUX, or Mercedes-Benz User Experience, is an advanced infotainment system manufactured by Continental. The system is designed to provide all vehicle occupants with entertainment and convenient car features controls with the software heavily emphasizing the use of an AI voice assistant.

It features Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 5, GPS, and USB connectivity and is equipped with AM/FM/DAB and satellite radio receivers. Compared to its predecessor, the NTG6, it allows the user to connect a mobile phone to either Apple CarPlay or Android Auto wirelessly, a better graphics processor enabling a 360° outside camera view that the user can freely rotate, and a support for three displays for the driver and front passenger along with additional displays for rear passengers among other improvements.
