The NIO Adam Supercomputer is used in NIO’s ET5, an electric mid-size sedan. It is the DCU (Drive Control Unit) for the ADAS system, which is an important component of the vehicle's powertrain system. The system includes features such as adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, and other advanced safety features. The system uses a combination of cameras, lidars and other sensors to provide real-time feedback to the driver and help prevent accidents.
For the NIO, the ET5 this system is a key feature of its advanced driver assistance capabilities and is designed to enhance safety and convenience for drivers. NIO Adam Supercomputer is like Desay’s SV Xpeng P7 Automatic Driving DCU. Comparing functionality of main ICs, the NIO uses four GPUs and a total of 128 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, while the Desay SV Xpeng P7 uses 32 GB of LPDDR4 RAM.
