Global smartphone shipments shrinks -8% YoY in Q2 2023, due to inventory adjustments and the mixed consumer demand from geopolitical uncertainties, and unfavorable economic conditions. Samsung topped the global smartphone market with a healthy 20% share in Q2 2023. Apple ranked the second place with 16% share. Xiaomi, OPPO (OnePlus) and Transsion took the top 5 list. Vivo, Honor, Realme and Lenovo-Motorola, and Huawei are on the top ten list this quarter. Among top ten players, only Transsion and Huawei registered the annual growth rate this quarter.
