The Huawei Pocket S was released on November 11, 2022. This is a cheaper version of another flip smartphone, the Huawei P50 Pocket.The mobile runs on the Harmony OS 3.0 operating system.
Both batteries are the same as in the Huawei P50 Pocket. The main Battery was supplied by Shenzhen Sunwoda. This phone does not have a division of RF and System Main Boards. Everything is located on one Main PCB. Several interposer boards are connected to the Main Board where antennas are connected.
GETTOP provided two MEMS Microphone for Huawei Pocket S. Part number -MA-FRA381-A13-4. The same ones are used in the Huawei P50 Pocket.Compared to the Huawei P50 Pocket, the Huawei Pocket S features:
- Old chipset -Qualcomm SM7315 (In Huawei P50 Pocket -Qualcomm SM8350)
- Three cameras instead of four (32 MP disappeared in Pocket S)
- Two microphone (four in Huawei P50 Pocket)
- Minimum 128 GB 3D TLC V-NAND Flash (minimum 256 GB in Huawei P50 Pocket)
