Huawei's smartphone shipments rose 22% YoY to 14.2 million in Q2 2025, despite a 29% drop in average selling price impacting revenue significantly.
Huawei's global smartphone shipments increased for nine quarters, up by 22% year-over-year (YoY) to 14.2 million units in Q2 2025. Though the growth rate slowed down annually and sequentially, it significantly outpaced the industry overall. The real challenge came from Huawei’s smartphone average selling price (ASP), which declined by 29% YoY and dragged revenue down by 13% YoY. It was the third consecutive quarter Huawei saw ASP fall, which may suggest Huawei’s struggle in the high end without a chipset breakthrough.
