Apple's captive silicon driven by A-series, M-series, S-series applications processors (AP) shipment volume grew 10 percent year-on-year in Q2 2025 while captive silicon revenues grew marginally at 5 percent in the same period. Apple's A-series APs are used in iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, iPod Touch and HomePod while the M-series APs are used in iPad, MacBook, Macs and the Vision Pro devices. Latest Apple 5G modems (C1 and C1X) which was introduced with the latest iPhone 16e and iPhone Air smartphone designs were included along with the N1 connectivity chip.
