Game Console shipments returned to growth spectacularly in Q2 2025, with a +82% year-on-year performance, reaching over 10M units shipped globally this quarter. The Game console market has been on a declining trend since the latest generation of game consoles from Sony and Microsoft reached their peak sales in 2023, and more importantly, Nintendo's Switch sales were dwindling as the console was getting old and in dire need of a refresh. Enter Switch 2, the anticipated successor, is already breaking records, highlighting that consumer demand for game consoles remains very strong.
