Cellular baseband and radio chipset unit shipments grew 11.5% from 2023 to 2024 as the post-COVID recovery continued. TechInsights expects a decline in shipments of 4.7% year-on-year in 2025, a result of tariffs and business uncertainty. From 2025 to 2030, unit shipments will grow about 4% per year, most of this from M2M and cellular IoT including 5G REDCAP devices.
