Analysis: Lenovo-Motorola Smartphone Revenue Grew 27% YoY in Q1 2025

Track Lenovo-Motorola’s 7% YoY shipment growth and rising ASPs in Q1 2025—driven by strong Edge and Razr series sales and momentum in the Indian and Asia Pacific markets.
Lenovo-Motorola smartphone shipment grew 7% YoY, for a market share of 5%, in Q1 2025. It was ranked eighth in the global smartphone market. The company grew very strongly in the Indian smartphone market. As a result, Asia Pacific's Motorola shipment remained ahead of North America in this quarter, similar to Q3 and Q4 2024. Estimated smartphone wholesale revenues grew 27% YoY, bolstered by an ASP growth of 19% YoY for the quarter. The extreme reduction in shipment of the low-priced E series, while the growth of the high-end Edge series (driven by the strong performance of the Edge 50 series) and premium Razr series, as well as growth in 5G smartphone shipments, led to this ASP growth.
