Notebook PC shipments rose 5.5% YoY in Q4 2024 to 54.4M units, marking five straight quarters of growth, with strong commercial demand and China recovery.

Notebook PC shipments grew 5.5% in the fourth quarter of 2024 versus a year ago, totaling 54.4 million units. This is the fifth consecutive quarter the notebook PC market has grown after falling much of 2022 and 2023. Commercial demand was strong, while consumer demand was mixed as the PC industry returned to more traditional seasonal purchasing. Q4 2024 saw mainland China's demand recover owing to government stimulus in the consumer market.
