This is an analysis of Qualcomm's fiscal Q1 2025 results. On February 5th 2025, Qualcomm reported record revenues for the calendar quarter ending in December 2024. Strong seasonal demand drove handset revenues up 20% from year-ago quarter. Qualcomm has now resolved licensing issues with ARM and continues to ship the latest Oryon CPUs. Despite expectations of losing all thin modem business from Apple in 2027, Qualcomm is guiding revenue growth in the near term as ASP trends upward while global market for Android smartphones remains flat.
