Global smartphone shipments rebounded 3% YoY in Q4 2024, maintaining the upwards track for five quarters in a row, but the growth rate has largely slowed down as what we expected. The recovery in emerging markets largely delivered the solid results. Apple topped the global smartphone market with 23% share in Q4 2024. Samsung ranked the second place with 16% share. Xiaomi, Transsion and vivo and took the top 5 list. OPPO(OnePlus), Honor, Lenovo-Motorola, Huawei and Realme are on the top ten list this quarter. Except Samsung and Transsion, all other top ten players registered the annual growth rate this quarter.
