The Watch’s main frame is made of stainless steel, for health and durability reasons. Stainless steel is commonly used in medical grade devices. The watch meets the requirements of IP22 in case of liquid intake protection.
Several parts (mechanical and electronic) are used to monitor blood pressure: Dual-Aircuff, two Solenoid Valves to control air flow on each cuff, Piezoelectric micro air pump, two Pressure Sensors, and MCU.
In this case, the MCU is responsible for processing sensor data and sharing it with the application on the smartphone via Bluetooth. The user interface consists of: Home Button, Power Button, Display/Touchscreen, and BP Doctor app.
The BP Doctor MED has a 1.61” AMOLED display with a resolution of 320 x 360 pixels. Battery Capacity is 250 mAh and the watch does not support wireless charging. The charging system is based on Pins.
