The April Update provides The McClean Report’s ranking of the top-50 semiconductor suppliers of 2023 by sales revenue, by growth rate, and by headquarters location. The top-10 semiconductor suppliers of 2023 are compared with the top-10 from 10, 20, and 30 years ago. Two of the top-10 semiconductor companies in 1993 were also among the top-10 in 2023. China is expected to remain the world’s largest IC market through 2028. The April Update reviews the worldwide IC market by geographic region over the next five years. Major CHIPS Act awards have begun. The April Update summarizes CHIPS Act funding to date and explores anticipated allocations to come.
