Weltmeister is a Chinese manufacturer of electric SUVs and passenger cars. Formerly known as VM Motor. The proper operation of all subsystems is managed by the SA8155P Automotive Development Platform created by them. WeltmeisterSA8155P Automotive Development Platform manages the operation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The ADAS controller, a central electronic module, plays a crucial role in processing data from sensors to implement functions such as lane keeping assist, traffic sign recognition, blind spot detection, surround view monitor, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert and a driver monitoring system.
Acting as the central processing unit, it integrates sensor data from cameras, lidar, radar, inertial measurement units (IMUs), and map data for perception and decision-making. It also communicates with various vehicle systems to ensure optimal coordination, and is designed to complement, not replace, the driver's responsibilities and attention.
