Order activity for semiconductor equipment improved to 65 °F. Within the segments, memory fundamentals continue to improve from the freezing levels earlier this year. Most of the equipment order activity this year is driven by China, reshoring, and the surge in AI demand. China's effort in semiconductor supply chain independence has become more imperative.
On the demand side, the holiday season is off to a solid start. It is important that this momentum continues all the way to the Chinese New Year so the inventories trend to normal levels.
