The Aqara Smart Video Doorbell G4 is a smart video doorbell capable of face recognition. It is similar in size and overall functionality when compared to the Ring Doorbells (Doorbell Pro 2 and Video Doorbell Pro).
All three have very similar internal designs, consisting of elements like:
- Camera sensor with night vision
- IR/Visible filter switch
- IR LED Illumination
- PIR Motion Sensor
- Ambient light sensing diode
- Simple external unit interface
The main difference is the camera sensor resolution and Wi-Fi connectivity. In Aqara, the device sensor has slightly less MP and utilizes a lower Wi-Fi standard.
