The C55 is the latest addition to Realme’s entry-level C series and a successor to the C33, it offers new cameras with bigger image sensors, higher-resolution display, faster 33W charging, and sideinstead of back-mounted capacitive fingerprint sensor. The device features two rear cameras: 64 MP wide-angle and 2 MP depth, with an 8 MP wide-angle front camera - the main sensor having the highest pixel count among all C series phones but does not have a dedicated macro camera seen in older devices.
The display is a 2040 x 1080 TFT LCD panel with 90 Hz refresh rate. It is the first high refresh rate C series Realme TechInsights has analyzed.
This phone supports WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.2 and GPS/GLONASS/GALILEO/Beidou connectivity.
The overall internal design is very similar to other C series phones in TechInsights’ library, the most notable difference being separate RAM and NAND Flash memory modules in the C55.
