TechInsights has torn down the recently released Apple iPad Pro 11-inch featuring Apple M4 SoC die, with markings TMRV93. Apple M4 SOC is manufactured using TSMC 2nd generation of N3 process, referred to by TSMC as N3E. TechInsights has covered in our recent featured content reports, some early analysis of this SoC, including die floor-planning, and logic cell libraries and SRAM dimensions. This report dives a bit more into preliminary process integration changes observed for N3E.
