The Motorola Moto G Play XT2413-2 3rd Gen is the latest model in the Moto G Play series, succeeding the 2nd Gen Moto G Play. This smartphone boasts a Qualcomm Octa-Core Snapdragon 680 Applications/Baseband Processor built with 5 nm technology, as well as 4 GB Mobile LPDDR4X SDRAM from Samsung and Samsung’s 3D TLC V-NAND Flash Memory with a capacity of 64 GB. The previous model, on the other hand, was equipped with MediaTek’s Helio G37 with 12 nm technology. The 8MP front camera on the Motorola Moto G Play XT2413-2 3rd Gen uses Samsung S5K4H7 image sensor. This smartphone runs a 3-Axis Electronic Compass, a 3-Axis MEMS Accelerometer, an Ambient Light/Proximity sensor, a 4850 mAh battery, and a 90 Hz, 6.5” IPS TFT LCD.
The Motorola Moto G Play 3rd Gen has upgrades compared to the Motorola Moto G Play 2nd Gen. The former is equipped with an 8 MP Wide-Angle front camera and a 50 MP Wide-Angle rear camera, whereas the latter has a 5 MP Wide-Angle front camera and three back cameras: a primary 16 MP Wide-Angle rear camera, a 2 MP macro rear camera, and a 2 MP depth rear camera. Although both phones have a Li-Po battery with a capacity of 4850 mAh, the Motorola Moto G Play 3rd Gen supports wired charging up to 15 W, while the Motorola Moto G Play 2nd Gen supports wired charging up to 10 W.
