The RA9530 extracted from the Fi Smart Dog Collar Series 3 is a highly-integrated single-chip wireless power transmitter and receiver chip (TRx) that can both send and receive AC power through magnetic induction. It includes a high-efficiency synchronous full-bridge rectifier and control circuitry to optimize power transfer by communicating with the transmitter (Tx). The chip is managed by a low-power 32-bit ARM® Cortex®-M0 processor, which offers flexible programmability and can control GPIOs to indicate operating and fault conditions. The detailed process features of the die are analyzed in this report and compared with other selected power MOSFETs using the similar BCD process technology.
