Oppo SUPERVOOC S PMIC from OnePlus Ace 2 Mobile Handset Process Analysis

This report presents a PMIC process analysis (PEF) of the Oppo SUPERVOOC S PMIC, extracted from the OnePlus Ace 2 smartphone. It features a proprietary full-link fast-charge PMIC said to provide a new charging and battery life experience. The PMIC enables 100 W wired charging with 50% charge in 10 minutes. It also features Voltage Open Loop Multi-step Constant-Current (VOOC), a standard which requires a proprietary cable plus adapter with increased charge capability coming from an increased current rather than voltage.
