Oppo Silicon Battery (Find X8) Battery Characterization

Detailed Battery Characterization of Dongguan BLPB07 silicon-anode Li-ion cell from Oppo Find X8, with performance comparison to OnePlus Ace 3 Pro’s BLPA65.

Complementary to the battery essentials report (BEF-2501-801) that recently provided important structural and morphological insights, this report describes a Battery Characterization (BCR) analysis of the Dongguan BLPB07 silicon-enhanced anode Li-ion battery cells extracted from the Oppo Find X8 smartphone. Here, we discuss the functional examination of the BLPB07 battery under various current-temperature conditions. The performance of the BLPB07 battery will also be compared with the BLPA65 battery (BCR-2407-802) extracted from the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro smartphone).
