Global smartphone shipments rebounded at 2.6% YoY to 325.3 million units in Q4 2024. Smartphone wholesale revenue also grew 0.8% YoY at US$120 billion. Apple topped the global smartphone market with 23% share. Samsung ranked in second place with 16% market share. Xiaomi, Transsion and vivo make up the rest of the top-five list, followed by OPPO (OnePlus), Honor, Lenovo-Motorola, Huawei and Realme. For 2024 full year, global smartphone shipments registered 5.7% annual growth rate at the volume of 1,217.8 million units. Smartphone wholesale revenue increased 2.6% YoY with the value of US$408 billion. Samsung ranked the top with 18% market share, followed by Apple (18%), and Xiaomi (14%). Transsion (9%) and OPPO (OnePlus) (8%) remain in the top five list.
