In Q1 2025, total PC shipments, including desktop and notebook PCs, were 63.1 million units, a growth of 7.7% versus the first quarter of 2024. Notebook PC shipments grew 6.6% from the same period a year ago and totaled 49.2 million units. Shipments to the US were robust as OEMs pulled in inventory to brace for the impact of potential tariffs. The continued uncertainty surrounding US tariffs and associated risks will negatively impact the remaining PC outlook for 2025.
