TechInsights bumped up global smartphone shipment forecasts in 2024 and 2025 to factor the improved macroeconomic outlook under rate cuts and eased inflation. Upward adjustments in North America, Western Europe, Asia Pacific, Central & Latin America and Africa Middle East offset the downtick in Central & Eastern Europe led by the escalated military actions and geopolitical tensions in 2024. In 2025, besides Central & Eastern Europe, Asia Pacific forecast has also been lowered largely due to the suspended Reliance Jio 5G smartphone push.
