The Tecno Phantom V Fold design includes two battery subsystems. Both batteries are made by Dongguan Amperex Technology Limited using Lithium-polymer based cells by Amperex Technology Limited. The packs are rated for 2310 mAh and 2550 mAh and can be fast charged with input power up to 45W. The foldable Main Display Subsystem and Cover Display Subsystem are both supplied by Samsung and made using AMOLED LTPO technology with 120 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1100 nits. The device features five cameras in total. Two front facing, (one under each of displays) and three rear cameras. The front cameras consist of a 16 MP wide-angle camera with an OmniVision CMOS BSI sensor. The second front camera is a 32MP placed under cover display. It is designed with a Samsung image sensor. Both camera subsystems were made using five lenses, without optical zoom. The rear camera system includes a 50MP Wide-Angle camera, a 50MP Telephoto camera, and a 13MP Ultra-Wide-Angle camera. All three cameras are using Samsung image sensors and feature phase detection auto focus. Only the telephoto camera has optical zoom of x2. As for the Hinge (NE #9) – it is made of two aluminum bars with a set of aluminum and metal arms, combined with two sets of gears responsible for even spreading and closing. Individual parts were machined, and spot welded to hinge bars, resulting in a total weight of 20.69 gram. The hinge mechanism was covered using titanium supports (NE #32-34), which also improve stiffness.
