The Google Pixel 8 Pro launched in 2023. It was announced on October 4, 2023, and was available on October 12, 2023. The GC3VE model is suitable for European and Indian markets. The Google Pixel 8 Pro has several improvements regarding its cameras compared to its predecessor. Their front cameras differ marginally in their stated resolution. However, they use the same sensor, and the Google Pixel 8 Pro’s front camera also comes with autofocus. While the 50 MP wide-angle rear camera and the periscopic telephoto camera didn’t change significantly, the old 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera was replaced with a 48 MP device.
There is a slight difference in displays between the Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel 8 Pro, with the former having a marginally higher one, which results in a slight decrease in PPI from model to model (513 down to 490). The Google Pixel 8 Pro has a battery with a typical capacity of 5050 mAh, slightly increasing from 5000 mAh in its predecessor. The Google Pixel 8 Pro supports WiFi7 and Bluetooth 5.3, while its predecessor supported WiFi6E and Bluetooth 5.2. USI provides a WiFi/BT module (G5-602550) from which the LTE-U Rx signal passes through the LTE-U LNA to the RF transceiver. The RF antennas were in the Main Frame and on two separate modules –an NFC Antenna with a Wireless Charging Coil and three UWB antennas.
